2026 Rio Hardy
Cornhole Cup

The 16th Annual Rio Hardy Cornhole Cup is on its way, along with your chance to take home the Savage Memorial Trophy! This year’s event will take place at Mosqueda Cantina on the Rio Hardy in Baja Mexico on Sunday, September 6 at 11:00 AM.

We are going to carry on the tradition we started last year where the Rio Hardy Cornhole Cup went blind! We’re going to run the Advanced division as a blind draw. That means each Advanced player will sign up as a single player and we will randomly partner each entrant with another Advanced player. This will be a double-elimination tournament, so your team has to lose twice before you go home.

Another added feature for 2026 is an additional party at Guzman’s Cantina on Friday night at 7:00! For the Advanced blind draw we pull names from a hat to pair up the teams for Sunday’s big event, so we thought we’d do it with the Guzman family and whatever players want to show up to see who their partner will be!! If you don’t make it to the party, be sure to check our Facebook page on Saturday to see who your partner will be for this amazing event.

There will be no changes to the Novice division and it will continue to run as it has in the past with each player signing up with the teammate of their choice. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR NOVICE IF YOU ARE AN ADVANCED PLAYER. THIS RUINS THE FUN FOR EVERYONE AND WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE YOU FROM THE TOURNAMENT. This will be a double-elimination tournament, so your team has to lose twice before you go home.

This will be the spot to order all things related to the 2026 Rio Hardy Cornhole Cup. We have t-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, hats, stickers, raffle tickets and, of course, you can get registered to play in the Cornhole Cup Store. You must purchase entries and apparel in advance. This event will sell out, so there will be no signups at the event and very few shirts available, if any.

David Williams is heading up the planning of this year’s event, so let him know if you would like to volunteer, donate or if you have a suggestion to make this the best Cornhole Cup ever! This will be the last year that he hosts this event, so please reach out if you are interested in taking it over for 2027.
