2026 Rio Hardy Poker Run

You’re at the right place to keep updated on the latest news for the 2026 Rio Hardy Poker run. The Poker Run will be taking place Sunday, May 24, 2026 along five stops on the Rio Hardy and concluding with a party, raffle and more at Mosqueda Cantina. The theme of the 2026 Rio Hardy Poker Run was voted on by you and the winning theme is Rio Rodeo!

As we did last year, we will be pre-selling wristbands, raffle tickets and apparel in our Poker Run Store. The link to the store will be live once we’ve chosen a theme and created the logo (the one above isn’t the final logo). You will be able to purchase your wristbands, raffle tickets and apparel in advance so that we can spend more time enjoying Mexico on Memorial weekend. Also, apparel items are discounted by $5 if you buy before May 10! There may be a very limited number of apparel items available at registration, but don’t count on it.

Although we are still finalizing the five stops on this year’s Rio Rodeo Poker Run, we do have the schedule for the weekend posted.

Paige Williams and Kaley Duff will be heading up the planning this year. The Rio Hardy Poker Run is a charitable event and all profits go to the River Fund. That money is then donated to local Mexicali charities to help out our community. As much as the organizers enjoy this labor of love, it takes a lot of effort from a lot of people to pull it off. They need as much help as they can get from the community, so we’re asking you to get involved. Whether it’s hosting a stop, handing out shirts, selling wristbands, recruiting sponsors, getting donations, decorating, running errands, organizing awards, ranking poker hands or anything else we come up with, we would appreciate it!

We want to get back to producing videos like the ones below for each Poker Run.

We are still looking for someone to film and edit video of the event!! Jamie Williams had a great three-year run creating Rio Hardy Poker Run videos and you can see the results below. Our goal is to bring back this tradition, but we’re going to need help. Any volunteers willing to shoot and/or edit some video?
