Rio Hardy Poker Run

Congratulations to everybody involved in the 2025 Rio Hardy Poker Run held on Memorial Day weekend!! The 2025 Poker Run raised $10,841 for the River Fund. Although money from the River Fund is occasionally used for maintenance projects that benefit the entire river community (water testing, removing dangerous river debris, etc.), the majority of the money is donated to local charities on an annual basis.

Now it’s time to start thinking about the 2026 Rio Hardy Poker run! The 2026 Poker Run will be taking place May 24, 2026 along five stops on the Rio Hardy and concluding with a party, raffle and more at Mosqueda Cantina. The theme of the 2026 Rio Hardy Poker Run has yet to be determined, but we are open to suggestions.

As we did last year, we will be pre-selling wristbands, raffle tickets and apparel starting 1/1/26. Please purchase your wristbands, raffle tickets and apparel in advance so that we can spend more time enjoying Mexico on Memorial weekend. Not only will apparel items be discounted by $5 if you buy before May 10, there will be a very limited number of apparel items available after that date.

Paige Williams and Kaley Duff will be heading up the planning, so let them know if you would like to volunteer, donate or if you have a suggestion to make this the best Rio Hardy Poker Run ever! We are still looking for someone to film and edit a video of the event, so hit us up if you can help with that.
